I truly believe that with hard work, compassion and endurance, those working for peace and contributing to better lives for everyone will have an impact.
Our friends and athletes in at Free to Run in Kabul are not among the dead or physically injured , but our deepest sympathies are still with them and the families suffering from this tragedy. (Andrea)
From free to run :
We strongly condemn the horrendous attack in Kabul yesterday, which took place during the holy month of Ramadan, resulting in more than 80 deaths and at least 350 injuries, almost all of them civilians. Free to Run would like to thank everyone who has expressed concern about our staff and program participants in Kabul. They are all safe, despite some being in close proximity to the attack. The entire Free to Run community extends its deepest condolences to the families of the victims and concern for those who have been injured. We will continue our commitment and support to the people of Afghanistan, who exhibit resilience in the face of tragedy, and we stand in solidarity with them.
